Why Jackson Pulmonary Is Attending CHEST 2017 as a Team

May 10, 2017 by Chris Troksa

How can we improve patient care?

It’s a question nearly every health-care provider considers, and the answer is aligned with the theme to CHEST 2017—Team-Focused: Patient-Centered. Jackson Pulmonary has integrated this theme, provided by CHEST 2017 Program Chair, Peter Mazzone, MD, MPH, FCCP, into its practice.

Since 1983, Jackson Pulmonary has served patients in their namesake Mississippi city, specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. For the team at Jackson Pulmonary, emphasizing team-focused patient care is a way to unite health-care professions from several different backgrounds into a cohesive unit to work toward their goals. CHEST 2017 will bring this team together for evidence-based research, career advancement, and other reasons, which they will tell you about in their own words.
