What are your takeaways from past CHEST Annual Meetings?
I am able to stay up to date on the latest research and treatment modalities. Medicine is a frontier that is always evolving.
How did attending CHEST improve your patient care?
We must do our best to stay up to date with these changes to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
What are you looking forward to at CHEST 2017?
I always look forward to the opportunity to network with other health-care professionals who share my interest in pulmonary medicine. As a company, we have the chance to compare ourselves with other organizations to potentially improve our practice.
In your view, why is team-focused health-care important?
I believe that utilizing a team-based approach helps minimize medical errors. Each health-care professional has a unique set of skills and experiences that they bring to the table. Overall, working together increases accountability and improves patient care.
