It’s time to meet our competing finalists for CHEST Challenge at CHEST 2018! Fellows from many training programs took part in an online game earlier this year. The top three teams will play a Jeopardy-style format live game show at the CHEST Annual Meeting.

As the car sped down the highway, I saw for the first time the famous CN Tower of Toronto in the distance. My naivety regarding Toronto’s downtown geography would not last long, nor would my streak of having never attended a medical conference. I would be spending 5 enlightening and busy days at that tower’s feet, racing from event to event at the 2017 CHEST Annual Meeting. I attended my first CHEST Annual Meeting as a fourth-year resident: CHEST 2013 was held at McCormick Place in Chicago. I was stoked to be able to attend, but it was only for one night because I was on service. I presented a case report poster that was among the sea of other medical student and resident posters. I proudly wore my suit, which had gotten worn out during interview season while standing next to the poster, hoping no one would ask me a question about it.
