Submission options include:
Submit an abstract of original investigative work for consideration as a slide, poster, or electronic poster. Open to all health professionals, both domestic and international. Submitted abstracts will also be considered for the Alfred Soffer Research Award or Young Investigator Award. Please remember that all content is to be original work only, not presented or published prior to presentation at CHEST.
Submit a case for presentation during a case report slide or poster session. Respected experts will moderate the session and lead discussion. Open only to those enrolled in a physician training program, both domestic and international, in pulmonary, critical care, sleep medicine, thoracic surgery, or a related discipline.
Submit a case for presentation during a Medical Student/Resident Case Report slide or poster session. Experts will moderate the session and lead discussion. Open only to current medical students or residents, both domestic and international. Submitters must provide training program and other eligibility details upon completion of the Medical Student/Resident Case Report submission. Submissions in the areas of pulmonary, critical care, sleep medicine, thoracic surgery, or a related discipline will be considered.
Submit unique cases to present as a poster during the global case report session, where leaders from around the world will serve as moderators. Open to health professionals from outside the United States.
Submit clinical case puzzlers that highlight an interesting teaching point in chest radiology for oral presentation during an interactive clinical case puzzler session. Audience response technology will facilitate group participation, and a panel of experts will offer feedback. Open to all health professionals, both domestic and international.
Open June 30-July 17
Submit an abstract of original investigative work for slide presentation during the late-breaking original investigation session. The topic or data must be new, not available at the time of open submission, to qualify as late-breaking. Open to all health professionals, both domestic and international.
*CHEST will not consider research and manuscripts that have been supported either directly or indirectly by tobacco companies.
