How do I access the virtual platform?
A sign in button is available on the CHEST 2021 meeting site.


LIVE AND ON-DEMAND SESSIONS

How do I access a past live session recording?
After signing in to CHEST 2021, you will find recordings of past live sessions in On Demand / Live Session Recordings.

When can I start viewing the On Demand content?
Most on demand sessions are already available. Some on demand content will continue to be recorded through early November to accommodate our faculty. Completed recordings will be uploaded to the online meeting platform as they are available.


EXHIBITS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Is there still access to the Exhibit Hall?
Although CHEST 2021 is over, during your continued access you can still visit exhibit booths for more information. The exhibit booths will be accessible until October 1, 2022.

How do I access CHEST Challenge?
CHEST Challenge information is located in the Live navigation in the online meeting platform.

What are system requirements?
You can watch content on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running macOS 10.12+. You can also watch video on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.

Requirements for Apple computers:

  • macOS 10.12 or later
  • Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.

Requirements for Windows computers:

  • Windows 7, Windows 8.7 or Windows 10
  • Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.
  • Internet Explorer is not supported.

Can I view the meeting on a mobile device?
Yes, the meeting platform can be viewed on a mobile device and will be formatted for mobile viewing. CME claiming is best accessed on a computer.

Is there an app?
There is no app for this year’s meeting.


CME/MOC AND COA

What do I need to do to earn the maximum amount of CME/MOC?
The maximum amount of CME/MOC available can be earned by: 1) viewing all the pre-event/prerecorded lectures, and 2) attending all of the live sessions or watching/listening to the recorded content from the live sessions missed.

Do I have to watch the session live in order to claim CME for it?
You do not need to participate in a live session to claim CME for it. You will be able to claim credit for viewing live sessions, pre-recorded sessions, and live sessions as recordings. Claiming is determined by the amount of time spent interacting with educational content, regardless if it is live or prerecorded.

What is the maximum amount of CME/MOC available?
There is a maximum of 50 CME/MOC available

  • 50 credits for MD, NP, PA, AANPCB
  • 25.0 credits for RRT
  • 23.0 credits for Sleep

How do I claim my CME or COA and what is the deadline to claim?
After signing in to CHEST 2021, you will find the How to Claim CME tab located in the top navigation of the Live and On Demand sections as well as in the ‘More…’ slide out panel.

Claiming opens Wednesday, October 20, at 12:00 pm CT and must be claimed by Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:59 pm CT.

How do I receive MOC points?
You will earn MOC equivalent to the amount of CME you claim for the activity. When prompted at claiming, please verify or enter your ABIM ID and date of birth. CHEST will submit your points automatically, on your behalf. Please allow 3 to 5 business days after claiming the points to be reflected on your ABIM record.


POST-EVENT ACCESS

How long will I have access to the recordings? Are recordings downloadable?
You will have continued access and all material will be available until October 1, 2022. Videos are not downloadable.
